Comprised of approximately 40 staff senators, the DU 工作人员 Senate serves staff employees 和 the University by advocating for improved staff experiences 和 attention. We work closely with DU's division of Human Resources & Inclusive Community, the DU 教师 Senate, Undergraduate Student Government, 和 Graduate Student Government.

Brief History

The 工作人员 Senate's precursor organization, the DU 工作人员 Advisory Council ("SAC"), was established in 1978 by the University's Vice Chancellor for Business & Financial Affairs. The 工作人员 Advisory Council was superseded by the 工作人员 Senate in October 2023 when University administration 和 SAC representatives agreed on a new set of 规章制度 和 relationships with the University. The new 工作人员 Senate officially began business on January 1, 2024.
